The answer to your search isn't something - it's someone.  His name is Jesus.
How can one person be the answer to all your needs?  How can one man heal your broken family, cleanse your body of its destructive addictions, give you the strength to face life's toughest challenges, provide you with a circle of real friends and give you new life as well?  Because that one man is more than just a man - He's God in the flesh.

Since Jesus is part of the Trinity of God, He created you.  He designed you and blessed you with the gift of life.  Being God, Jesus has the power to meet all your needs.

Unlike some people suppose, Jesus is not cold and distant towards your struggles.  He cares for you more than you'll ever know.  He loves you.  In fact, He knows exactly what you're going through and His heart aches for you.

How can you be sure?  What proof is there that Jesus both cares for you and has the power to meet your needs?  The answer is Easter.  No, not in this Easter's chocolate bunnies and colored eggs.  The answer lies in the first Easter Sunday about 2000 years ago.  That's when Jesus proved how much he loves you.

Jesus left the glory of His throne in Heaven and was miraculously born of a virgin named Mary in Bethlehem.  This miracle verified that Jesus, from the very beginning, was divine.  Jesus grew up and led a seemingly normal life with one major exception: He never sinned.  He never told a lie, cheated, gave in to sexual temptation, hated or harmed anyone - ever.  He was completely innocent of any wrongdoing whatsoever.

Jesus went about healing the sick, helping the hurting and spreading God's love and message of forgiveness and salvation.  You'd think that the people would have given someone like Jesus a parade.  Instead, they falsely arrested Him and gave Him the death penalty.

Why? From the moment that Adam and Eve sinned and were cast out of the Garden of Eden, God set into motion a plan to restore mankind to Himself.  Because of His perfect love, God desperately wanted mankind to be reunited with Him.  Because of His perfect justice, God could not casually ignore our sin.

That's why Jesus went to the cross.  It was all part of God's plan to display His love and dispense His justice in one miraculous act.  Jesus took our place on the cross that day.  He was innocent, yet He willingly died to set us free from the punishment we deserve.  In doing so, He supernaturally took all our sin upon Himself.  He alone had the power to do so since He created us in the first place.  In exchange, He poured out His perfect righteousness to us so that we might be restored to God.  Innocent!  Clean!  New!  Free!  Alive! Victorious!

All of this would be hollow talk if it weren't for one thing: the resurrection.  Jesus was buried in a tomb on a Friday.  The following Sunday, the very first Easter, Jesus arose from the grave and conquered the penalty of sin and the power of death!  He wasn't temporarily resuscitated; He came back to life and has never tasted death since!

Today, Jesus reigns in Heaven where He awaits the appointed time to bring the world as we know it to a close and to usher in eternity.  Until that time, you still have the opportunity to receive God's love and power that was revealed that first Easter.  How?  By placing your faith in Jesus.  By trusting that He is the one true way of salvation, forgiveness and eternal life.

The road you've been on is headed for more misery, loneliness and emptiness in the near future and the ultimate penalty in the end.  By turning away from your old ways and turning to Jesus, you will find new life here and eternal life in Heaven in the hereafter.

Don't make the mistake of placing your faith in religious ceremonies or church membership.  And don't bother assuming that you've lived a good enough life to earn your way into Heaven.  It can't be done.  Jesus is the only way.

If you'll place your life in Jesus' hands, you'll find exactly what you've been searching for.  Once you consider that Jesus had the power to created you and then defeat the power of death for you, you'll realize that He also has more than enough power to heal your broken heart, put your finances back in order, guide you to the right job, help you be the parent your children need and give you the support system of caring friends that you need.

So, call off the search and call upon Jesus.  The Bible promises that He won't turn you away.  Jesus loves you.  He has the power to help you. He proved it on that first Easter Sunday.  If you haven't met Him yet, we hope that you'll join us this Sunday so that we can introduce Him to you.  Or, you can commit your life to Him right now by praying the prayer listed below.  The prayer itself doesn't save you. Praying it in faith does.

Prayer of Salvation:
"Dear God I know I am a sinner. I believe Christ died on the cross for my sin and then arose from the dead. I now confess you as my Lord and trust you alone for my salvation.  According to your Word, I believe in you and receive you by faith. Please help me live my life from this point on for you.  Thank you for the gracious gift of eternal life. Amen."
